Weber float bowl mod epoxy type
Since I'm into rebuilding the carbs, thought I would do the float bowl mod and add the dam in the bottom. I've searched the archives unsuccessfully and Jerry doesn't specify in his book, so the question is: what type of epoxy works?
I did see a picture posted showing a set that were sent to Jerry Woods, and that looks like good old JB Weld, but that doesn't mean it's so. Do I need some custom $80 per kit type product that can survive immersion in gasoline? Thanks, Russ

JW mills a shelf in the bottom of the float bowl that the plate sits on before it's epoxied in. There may by other work involved. I posted a shot showing the mod.

Thanks raceman, I posted back to Gumba just as your hit. I'm off to the store.
