Starting my heat backdate, where to find hose

I'm starting my SSI/heat backdate this weekend. Where is the best place to get the Aeroduct hose seen here in this photo ( the orange hose )

I was looking at the Aircraft Spruce website. And what heat range should I be looking at? Do I need to go up to 500 F ?

Thanks for your time

I found it easily at my local airport. It is used as windshield defroster hose in small(Cessna?)aircraft. The places that service the planes are usually in the phone book. The proper name is silicone rubber high temp flex duct

I ordered the orange aircraft hose from www.racerpartswholesale.com.

It is hard to find on the web site - it doesn't seem to be listed in the main product index (or I missed it). But I did find the link while looking for air scoops for brake cooling (getting ready for winter project season).

So - you can do this: click the link to display the full product index, then click on Air Ducts. At the bottom of that page is a link to another page that shows the high temperature air hose.

Good luck
Scott

Thank you for everyones replies.

Now, how did you get the hoses through. Did you buy older style engine tins or did you cut holes in your current tins? And if you did cut holes, where did you cut? It looks like it will be right under the engine mounts.

Thanks for your time.
