I am amazed that those axles donīt brake more often. On any car. With all that sudden torque attacking them.

if your going to continue with this type of behavior..........do yourself a favor and attach spare, already greased, coffee can lids duck-taped to ends, to hold grease in, allen socket and ratchet, to roll bar or cage with hose clamps .

then you will be able to become "ONE" with your CV'S and get home. arent those rubiks cube balls fun! been there done this.............dont fergit hand cleaner and rags!

What have I told you Mike about drag racing on La Mesa.

Good thing Ingo is out of country or it might have been fixed already!

Say what???? I broke it on Saturday and I drove it to work this morning......

Not like I HAD to fix, I have a perfectly running SUV and the 914/6 is on the road again....

Joe, too bad I did not bring my camera this time for the CV incident. On second thought documenting the 356 incident a couple of years ago could have backfired on me...

Any chance you might have photos of these incidents? You know, ones of Mike with something funny sticking out of his nose or the interesting hats that he seems to wear from time to time?

Mike, if I wasnt in Dubai or India this week would come over and lend a hand!

Ingo,

Next time at least snap a pic with the camera phone! There are Pelican's who would pay good money for that!

Have fun in Narita! Its loads better than Dubai...

Would gladly trade you. Been here on and off for 6 weeks now and while its ok, I like the Pacific Rim a lot more. Put me in HK, KL, Singapore or the like and its a lot more fun.

That said, just returned from the largest shopping mall in the world, "Mall of the Emirates" and its got over 500 stores and a ski-slope. so lots of variety here.

Its sure a lot cheaper here than in Tokyo...

Well, I only do some customer management (make'em happy) at this time here in Japan. You could do that in a heartbeat. If you teach me how to fly one of those Lears or Citations or whatever it is we can swap roles for once. I only have FS 2000 seat time and some jump seat time on 777's and 747's at this point....

I know from first-hand experience that the grass is always greener on the other side.

Now I am off to the largest Disney Land in the world: Tokyo downtown by night.

Cheers,
Ingo
