temp switch--where to find it

Does anyone know where the temperature switch in the crankcase vent cover is located. Also, is this the same thing as the two wire temp sensor. that screws into the engine. This vent cover switch is supposed to control the blower motor if engine temp is at 260 to help cool the engine. Thanks for any help
