What about the nice seventhies color: gold metallic...?;)
You love it or you hate it! I hated it, but starting to love it as I will repaint my car in this same color at the end of it's restoration. |

ICE GREEN
My '77 911s Targa is Ice Green.
Any one else with this combo? The interior (factory) is Matching green and black Sam |
I don't know what color this is that I have and have never seen another like it. Do you guys think it was ever a stock color? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1169405420.jpg

Have not seen many in Petrol Blue. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1169405700.jpg

That Petrol is a great color.

I know of a one-off, special request by the original owner for Porsche to use GM paint so his 911 would match his Caddilac. The car's a gem. Owned by a fellow on the Early 911S registry site.
But then come to think of it, I've only seen one car in Rose Red = Pink. |
Yes guards red and india red are the same color

It's impossible to answer your question, because there are a bunch of paint-to-sample cars out there that are one-of-a-kind.

Sam,
My '77 Targa is also Ice Green Metallic. I've only seen one other in my neck of the woods. Tom |

If we are talking factory colors not paint to sample then Kiln Red is pretty rare. '83 and '84 only as I recall.

My 83 is Quartz Gray I believe it was only available in 83.

Another vote for Ice Green Metallic.
I had mine repainted by the paint code on the door (260?) as I recall.... Have only seen 2 others this color in Colorado. Craig |
Factory Color, but fairly rare? Marble Grey...
