Sources / Pricing 16x9 Fuchs

I'm looking for sources and pricing for a set of 16x9 Fuchs.

I know about Wheel Enhancement, $1000 ea new. Any others? New or used.

Thanks!

Jason Cullen. Frequent Pelican poster with a good reputation. Jason stocks new as well as used 16x9's. I once sold a set of wheels to Jason and my check for payment was rec'd within 48 hours.

I think Sonnen was advertising new 9"x16" for around $790 last year. I bought mine about a year ago from Porsche for about $850 each. $1000 each is borderline crazy, but I've paid more for less quality on my 911.

Forget about Evilbay, it's too easy to get ripped off. Everyone seems to like Jason Cullen. Seems there is every reason to stick with reputable people on the Fuchs purchase. I'd recommend not taking any chances with the classifieds. Pay more moolah from an established vendor to make sure you get the good stuff.

This is in no way a slight against Jason... I do not know him, but certainly have heard enough about him from others to think I could trust the transaction...

But, I have a genuine question about what rusnak said... if the part numbers and fox emblem are stamped on the true Fuchs, it seems easy enough to verify. Are people on ebay posting false pictures or something? Just curious...

Hi V8,

I have to confess to being ripped off on E-slay. I bought a pair of Carl Zeiss binoculars (or so I thought) from a power seller with tone of good reviews (or so it seemed). I sent the money and got bupkus. A few months later I get a call from the FBI - they want me to supply them with info on the seller, etc etc.

Moral of the story, buy from guys like Jason, or even Wheel Enhancement, or from a Porsche dealer if you get lucky and win the lottery, but on something like Fuchs wheels I'd stay away from the classifieds. Too many people know the value of real Fuchs and are looking for a mark. How do you know the wheels are straight and true? Not cracked, etc? What do you do if there is a problem and you have to return them?

Good points rusnak, I was curious. I have bought things as large as cars on ebay and so far, luckily, I have not been burned yet. But I do understand it happens. Apparently it even happens on the board here (ala 930zx thread), but so far it seems to be a rare occurrence. And when it does happen, the wrath of Kahn is unleashed (and no I am not a Trekkie - just saw that movie as a kid).

Appreciate the comment's - Thank you!

There are valid points - As a used parts buyer, I too get the shaft from time to time.

This is why I make sure to supply exactly what my customer expects and not pass the buck!

Again - Thank you!!!

Jason
