Can anyone help here the other day my passenger window went into my door, took off the panel and pulled out the window and temp put it back in the chanel the switch and motor lseemed to work fine...
One day later was giving it a test run and boom window went down.. looked at it today and got the window out again, but now..my window switch does nothing and regulator wont budge it doesn't seem stuck though, also all the wires pulled off from the window switch..heres my big question even the drivers side switch for the passenger window doesn't work, however it works fine for the drivers window...does the passenger window switch have to be connected to power the window even for the switch on the side of the driver? Also where and how can i check the fuses for the switch??? Any help would b great Thanks Dsmith

You can check the fuse panel up in the trunk of the car. the switches do go bad over time have you tried moving the switches around to see if the pass window switch is the problem?

Not sure I'm following this..but the window was falling out of the channel at first but after the second time of refitting it into the channel the switch isn't working? Is that correct? Someone else will have to jump in and advise you on what adhesive you need to use for the window /channel bond. As for the wiring, the basic circuit is as follows:
![]() The internal connections on the driver's side passenger switch feeds the passenger side switch. A bad switch on the drivers side will cause problems on the passenger side. Also, if the motor harness on the passenger side was knocked loose by the falling window or your hands..neither switch would work. Hope the drawing helps.

Sounds like mine did when I pulled it apart to fix speakers once
it was (from memory) wrongly re-plugged up or a broken old wire they do show signs of heating in the past
