photoshop help please
Can any photoshop geniuses out there help me out if you can spare the time? I want to see what my Ruby Red cab would look like with a gold stripe down the middle of the car (large middle with two outside very thin stripes). Thanks if you can... No problem if you can't.

What about some Martini style graphics? Does anyone sell these, or are most painted?

It couldn't look as bad as the guys that put those red "flying A' horse decals on their p-cars or the "Carrera" decals on their non-Carrera cars....as they say "to each his own" Racing stripes can look cool when done right.

I like it. You just gotta pick the right gold/bronze. Done right could look awesome.

As a guy that spends his days putting interesting color (I'm a designer) together for my clients...I just don't think it would look very good. And I'm a guy that's fond of stripes on cars: http://www.whirledmedia.com/newnumbers

I'm just thinking out loud... Sometimes, something you never did, turns out to be something you wish you'd done!

Well, you can always try it and see how it goes. If you use vinyl you can remove it easily.
You might try a dark grey color too.

Yeah, I have decided against the gold a while back. I am leaning towards Porsche Platinum right now. Like this, only with a duck tail, and cleaned up bumpers. But I am also curious about maybe a Martini style stripe job on it. Ken Justice said he could possibly help with getting an idea for it. I will post a pic on this thread when we come up with something.

done right, When the sun hits it just right, in the highlight, the colors should blend in. That will be awesome. You might want to try spraing a light white pearl instead of gold. You would see the stripes in strong light and dissapear in avreage to low light... just a thought

I know that car. He must live in my neighbourhood. I've seen that car twice last week @ the Ralphs. It's realllyyyyy HOT!
No, you would not have to spray the whole car. You could just mask out the stripes, lightly sand the area to be painted, mix some clear with white (or even better Bronze pearl) and go @ it. I would go 2-3 coats of light pearl rather than one thick coat. You can stop when you like the look. When done spray some clear and VIOLA- got a personalized paint job.... (I'm assuming your existing clear is in good shape)
