Finally watching , and listening to it's sound from "the outside."

First impression, getting out of the 911 at ALMS in 05, (my first ever track event) were the sounds of those racing engines making it feel like my guts were "coming out."

The neighbor up the drive from me, who used to drive a Nelson Ledges, mentioned that the 911 sounds awesome when I drive by....now I finally know why....

I bought a video cam, and was curious to see from the "outside view", video/audio.

So for the first time this weekend, coming over a rise..... and then upon play-back, I'm speechless. The audio on this thing picks up everything (even the birds etc.,), and I was shocked to hear (and see) from the outside.

I've played the DVD back on two (three counting the video cam itself) dvd players, and I just don't know quite what to say.

You should take the best part of your video and upload it to youtube and post the link. I'd like to hear it.

I'll have to try to figure out the editing software that came with the cam. The 911 is on a +RW, with other stuff. Or maybe do another one. Never used Tube, not sure if our slow dial-up would work.
So much of the car is original. I know after the rebuild. I can't say for sure but the exhaust, looks like an Abarth from the old advertisement I have.

Well I was able to edit in the the take. But I can't figure out how to save just the audio only into an audio only file

I can play it back with several programs, but I can't seem to copy just the audio portion. The video is just too big a file.
