If you're thinking of backdating & you have SSIs...

DO IT!

Just backdated my SC, and heat was pouring in during fast idle warmup on a cold day. Only problem now is the left side of the engine compartment looks empty.

Agreed. I nearly melted a shoe once when I left my heat on to the footwells unknowingly. My left foot was burning long after I shut off the heat.

now you just need to remove the CAT and install a free flow exhaust, if you have not done so already.

SSI's have no cat(s) and are quite "free flowing" in comparison to some of the stock exhausts used on G-series 911's (i.e., they are in improvement for a 3.0).

How do you control the heater valves??

what do you mean by auto heat? Are you referring to the center dial found on the carerras?
