Drop links don't fit
Greetings, I am trying to install a set of drop links on my '71 911T thru-the-body sway bar. I do not know the brand, but the links are non-adjustable. Should the link fit onto the lever and the A arm mounts easily? I have tried every permutation and the link ends do not line up with the mounting tabs an the A-arm. I can force them in, but I am hesitant to introduce that sort of friction to the set-up. The link end is off by about 7-9degrees from the tabs. I would love to hear from anyone who has had similar problems or who has had no problems. I suppose some adjustable links would fix this.
Thanks kindly for any advice, Gunther |

Hi Rob, thanks. It is a head scratcher. I will try to get a picture of it posted. I just don't think they should be that hard to put in; they should at least line up with the mounting tabs. The front of the car is on stands, but I have the strut supported at normal ride height.
Cheers, Gunther |

My through body swaybar uses different than stock mounts on the A arms. The old ones were cut off and the new ones are bolted on.
