Dane, the tank is made by TRE using a standard spacesaver. Dave patches the original hole and welds in the center pipe. it's a nice tank but there's no bladder in it. It doesn't really account for the sloping angle of the hood, rather it uses compression friction from the flexible hose connecting the filler to the tank inlet. And as you would expect, it's not a plug and play affair, but nothing a big jack handle and a little English couldn't fix. The water catch is a frying pan, nice design.

MOE! Congrats on the 3.2!

Fantastic!

I was tempted by a Euro 3.2 that was listed for sale here. Still not sure if I want to go that route.

Are you going to Lime Rock on the 27th of May?

Chris B is going to try to make it with the Blue Phoenix!

Andrew

Looks great Andrew. I can't wait to see in person. Love the gas tank. I wouldn't change motors. As far as a motor swap, enjoy what you have and if it then gets boring, go for it. Hopefully we'll get on some autocrosses together this year.

See you soon,

David

Thanks Dave!

And I hope you can meet us to caravan to Lime Rock.

The sticker in the back window came with the car when I bought it. So far it got one funny comment from a older woman at a gas station. She asked me if the car ran on diesel.

ONE LESS SUV I think some SUV's get better gas mileage than my 911. Well at least my X5 does get better mpg than the 911 so there is one example.
