Great thread! Who makes the best reproduction 934 body parts (front spoiler, side mirrors and fender flares)?

Other than the Carrera Turbo style tail these are the only body parts that differ from an early 930, right?

A thought.

Build a MFI turbo motor.

Start w a set of 2.2 MFI base with a butterfly at each intake port and plumb it up from there. Check w Chuck at Pacific Fuel Injection and see if he can mod a pump for you. I talked w his East Cost equivalent years ago that said he could build one to work on a turbo using a 2.2 pump if I recall. In think they can add a boost can of some type to it for enrichment.

Using a modern turbo w MFI could make for a responsive motor.

You could even put water to air intercoolers on it if you wanted. Dose not have to look like a real 934 motor.

Yes, EFI or CIS would be easer. MFI would be one of a kind with some bad habits but...

No doubt MFI would be tricky....ask the 2002 turbo guys

I have the engine part under control, just need some advice for sourcing the body parts.

What was the correct exhaust outlet set up for a street legal 934?

Any hi-res 934 pics would be greatly appreciated

For fiberglass body parts you should be able to contact

- AIR
- GT Racing

I think the tail was from the early turbo.

Remember with the 2 water/air intercoolers in the front valance there was no need for room under the tail...

Here are some pix of my 934 replica and close-up of exhaust. With a 934 cam (idles like a stocker), 935 headers, big Garrett hybrid and Zork, this i quite simply the most incredible car, visually and performance wise, that i have ever owned. I feel like Derek Bell at Lemans just driving home from work. The response from the public is pretty amazing too... guys run up to me in the parking lot like little kids asking all kinds of questions. Click on my links for vids

Go 930 motor w/ ball bearing turbo hybrid for quick spool up, no lag and. . . EFI with a standalone ECU like a haltech, cheap and easy to program your fuel and twin plug ignition, control any boost setting you want, dif cam and youll have all the power, drivability and reliability you want to drive everyday and open track on weekends. Im going on this setp op for a 3.0 sc wide body w/o the turbo. . . .(for now)

A.I.R. has the parts you need. Front flares need a bit of work though, like any GRP parts.

934 project

This 78 930 is going to be a 934 replica or as I call it K9-34, mix breed.
Started to just do the fender thing and fell off that slippery slope.
Now its down to bare metal, cage, paint, 3.4 engine build, 935 ERP suspension, bbs wheels, centerlocks, etc. The madness won't stop,
but the money will before I get to water intercoolers or a flat fan.
Getting ready to paint underneath, mount suspension, hopefully will
be a roller soon.

Hey Turbo934, ya need an email or PM guy. What color is that exactly?.... like matteo said, props on the color combo. What size wheels are u running? Like what u did with the lighting install in the front spoiler inlets meant originally for the intercooler radiators. Had thought of doing the same. Would love to see some 'regular' shots of the car without snow or sepia!

Took some new pic's of Cristine, she's a little dirty.PO painted her , blue violet mettalic, 15 years ago, actual Porsche color, for 1993. I've had her for 9 years, always a work in progress. She wearing 9's & 11's by 15 .3.0 with an intercooler in left rear fender and a K27 with a zork. Coil overs, 1989 Turbo brakes and arms. She's evil but fun & reliable.
