Need help with temp?
I have a 84 3.2l engine in my 77 911 just wondering what it should run at, currently when its fully warmed up and i am on the hwy it reads in the middle of 180 to 210, is this normal, whats to hot? whats to cold. I have never took en this car for 6 hour ride, should i have any concerns?

That temp is just about perfect. The engine isn't even considered warmed up until 180. As far as being too hot, I wouldn't worry until you hit 240.

The temperture sender that is stock in the 3.2 engine is defferent from the sender in a 74.
If they (the sneder and gauge) are mismatched then the running temp will read lower than it actually is. Make sure they match. If they do, then the numbers you quote are good.
