Help me build my project list

Later this summer I will be pulling the camshafts to have them reground to a 964 profile. I'll be sending the cams and rocker arms to Camgrinder.

I'd like to start purchasing the other miscellaneous parts now to spread the financial pain over a couple months.

I am however not sure what gaskets and gadgets I will need to replace while I'm in there.

So what should I add to my list for this project?

P.S. I have the tensioner upgrade already.

Chain ramps? Which gaskets will need to be replaced?

Anyone? Anyone?

Are you doing a full rebuild? You might need head studs, vavle guides things like that.

I have no plans to do anything other that regrind the cams and rockers. I had the engine out a few months ago and took care of the usual "while I'm in there" stuff.

Thanks Donnie. That's what I'm looking for. Do I really need to replace the chains? What is Curil-T?

Geez! I didn't even think about the rebuild book. It is coming off the shelf now.

OK...never mind..... the list is on page 156 of the rebuild book.

Thanks again Donnie.

My chains have about 85,000 miles on them. They should be good for a while, shouldn't they?
