adjusting front height

Hello
I've got some troubles to ajust the front height on my '72 S
the screws to set the height (front) are on the max position, but i can't lower more the car. (still 2 inches between tire and body)
I have bilstein "track" shocks in boge struts.
Shall i reindex the bars or wait to drive the car till it lowers a bit ?
regards
Philippe

I don't think it will settle that much, since the fronts are easy, re-index them 1 tooth and drive that to see where it leaves you. Also, be sure to set the adjustment screw around the middle, that way you can go either direction when it's settled.

You answered your own question:
Gas-pressure shocks will settle a little more after you lifted the car.
If not, then re-index the front T-bars.

Just remove the adjuster screw and pull of the end cap (that the screw goes throu), reset the end cap in another position that alows a lower ride hight (anticlockwise I belive on the drivers side.).
