caliper upgrades for my '72 T

Hello,

I was wondering what calipers I can purchase to upgrade my factory ones on my '72 T. I think the previous owner went to Carrera rotors (if that is possible) and the brake pads only seem to cover about 3/4ths of the rotor surface area. As far as I can tell, I have factory '72 struts (they are black if that helps). What calipers could I go to for a bolt on upgrade?

TIA!

Scott

Originaly that car came w/ M front and rear.

If you still have the M front struts the first thing to do is replace them w/ A or S struts. The difference is in the caliper mounts
3" on M
3.5" on S or A

My local shop said I could go with 993 or maybe 964 front calipers (non-turbo) with minimal machining after my 17" rim upgrade without having to replace the struts. Anyone done this? If so, anyone know of some of these available?

Thanks,

Scott
