Dumb ducktail question?

Not sure how nitty gritty this question is, but I have a FG ducktail lid I have not mounted up yet to the car. The lid has the preinstalled threaded metal inserts for the hinge mounts. The rest will need to be added (latch mounting holes, AC condenser keeper mounting holes). The question I am wanting to clarify is whether or not the condenser is a problem to mount to the tail (as far as weight goes). I bought the tail from someone who had never installed it and I am not sure what brand it is, but it is a thick piece and seems to be good quality, as far as glass goes. The condenser looks to be mounted with most of the weight borne by the hinges, and the other keeper mounted to the tail is not as significant in terms of stress. Am I right in my thinking?

Thanks
