Question 3.2 distributor question if going carbs

If you remove the EFI induction and ECU is there a way to use the stock distributor on a 3.2? If not what distributor can you use?

I have a NA 3.2 in my 914.

The distributor is a recurved SC distributor. The stock distributor doesn't have an advance mechanism built in

That must be a modified dist. as the SC's run counter clockwise right? Who did the mod?

Yes its not a "stock" SC distributor. The name of the place that did the re-curve escapes me now..

Also the SC distributor went into my 3.2 whose case has never been split

Steve W. can do that. Dunno who on E. Coast or SE.

Maybe Pdoc? - tho he's in TN.

You can always ship it for not much $$

Just went through this on a 3.0, and ended-up going with Electromotive/Clewett. A bit more up-front money, but great versatility and very simple install.
