? on fuse block restoration
My engine bay fuse block is one little chunk of corrosion.
Any recommendations/cautions on cleaning chemicals or mechanical methods? ![]()

I would very lightly media blast it, specifically, corn cob.

thanks for the input. I'm going to order some corn cob for later jobs, but was on a roll with this.
Ended up using Xylene and a Dremel with: scrubber head Plastic bristle head micro grinder (to get inside the holes) polisher head Screws are soaking in PB Blaster. Would make a great mini modern art exhibit ![]() ![]() ![]()

It's a good feeling to take something old and seemingly bad and make it look and operate as new again. There's a sense of accomplishment that you don't get from buying a new replacement. Anyone can swap a part but not everyone can can rebuild/refurbish existing parts and make them as good as new (or better). Looks good Shaun.
