It would be cool, as a general concept, if people want to do an all day drive to do two loops of sorts and a lunch in the middle. That way people who *can't* spend all day driving around, AND have a long way to come, can bust out and head home.
Or, morning drives are often better subscribed because of that. It's tough to break away for that long. (kids wives, etc) Also, later in the spring gives the guys/gals in the north a better chance of making it, as well as the guys doing big winter projects a better chance, plus it's a prettier time to drive. Thinking late April early May. Just some random thoughts. (That may be based on my situation
