Speedo Sensor..

Does anyone have a photo or an explanation as to the direction the sensor goes in the transaxle.. Think i may have it in backwards.. Confused how the little clip holds it in.. there is a metal contact in the center on one side/? cant remember how it came out..

Thank you

Hi, the plain, flat, plastic surface goes on the inside with the two lugs toward the outside. The clip rests in the middle of the sensor to keep the whole thing in.

Cheers, Mike

PS, do a search on speed sensors, there's lots of info and checking procedures to try before buying a new one.....these things are not cheap.

Mike.

Rotate the wheels (both) and put a test light across the two wires. It will flash if the sensor is installed properly.
