Some(but not many) Cup cars did use them, the only reported issue was an increase in NVH.
Bill, is that pulley a larger diameter than the Patrick pulley? I would prefer to get the stock size pulley back on my engine since the 3 groove pulley won't fit.

Do you have a part #?

The single sheave 993RS lower pulley is
993 102 050 40

Bill, do you know the diameter of the pulley? Is it the same (or close) diameter to the stock pulley?

The single sheave RS crank pulley measures the same as the inner and outer sheaves on a standard 3 sheave. The middle sheave of the 3 sheave is 17mm larger

Old-school engine mount and sheetmetal.
Just don't buy any of his stuff. He doesn't stand behind the workmanship.

Alright, so now I have another issue...

- I'm considering carbs. (and I'm an anti-carb guy)

but the look is sooo appropriate, especially with the fan shroud & fan conversion.

You guys want ot weigh in? Anyone running PMOs on their 3.6 and feel strongly about it one way or the other?

Bill thanks for the info on the pulley. I measured the original 3 pulley vs. the Patrick pulley. It was difficult to be really accurate since the belt actually runs quite a bit down inside the stock pulley. Anyway, it looks like the Patrick pulley is about .600 " smaller at the top mark that the belt made.

I found that the RS pulley that Bill has posted can be bought for about the same price as an aftermarket pulley. Wish I had known.....Unfortunately, they are expensive either way.

BTW, I have the upper single pulley conversion thing that I'm not going to use at this point - if anyone needs it, it is for sale (brand new, even)

Here's another shot of the Carrera mid-sunroof delete (clipping the roof section on this one):

and, I'm repairing some damage on the rear firewall that I got tired of looking at:

- and call me crazy, but the sunroof delete roof clip was originally an OEM green ('69 912). I'm thinking of painting the finished roof of my otherwise black 911 this color. Anyone ever see an example of a contrasting colored roof on a 911 (ala Mini Cooper)?
