Unknown, If you live in Garden Grove Cali, you need to be cautious of extremely hot weather. I read that CHTS will burn out the older single wired ones.
With the new CHTS you should go many years without replacing it unless you ride in extremely hot temeratures consistantly. Be aware of symptoms after the hot weather drives.

I sure hope the new 2 wire sensors are better...
My OEM single wire sensor only lasted 18 years and 120k miles... Unacceptable!!

Still got the original sensor on mine. Seems to work fine...it reads a tempurature, anyways...
But I do need to change it...

Not at all. In fact, it rarely goes above the first line on the meter unless I sit in traffic awhile. NEVER more than halfway. Even on a 1000 mile, 90+ degree run over the Summer, it was running nice and cool According to the meter.
