Love your style, the color, the whole project. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
It gives me hope that one day I can tackle a "dream" project like this too.

I love that angle on these cars. Those vented fenders are it!
I also love the colour keyed instrument cluster.

Maybe sometime in the future. Right now I want to finish all the small details pending...

OK... Stuff done and pending items:

Done:

Got a decent key chain for it :D

http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps0e0qm9ub.jpg

Made a cover for the drain housing since the car will not have A/C...

http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...pszwezmyjc.jpg

Installed the hose on the drain...

Mandatory photo with younger sibling...

http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...psd50d692a.jpg

Pending:

Hood and engine lid shocks
Hood pins (yeah, never found them)
Make plugs/covers for all the holes from the A/C in the firewall. To avoid gases from trunk area to get inside the cabin.
Install vent hose for gas tank
Instead of installing the cigarette lighter plug, I was thinking of just getting an USB charge port and install that... all I need is a place to charge my phone. USB port will be less visible.
Clean/Detail engine
remove side oil lines to clean and remove crushed area via the blow until it pops out method...( Fixed my Crushed Oil line for $5 and a beer. )
Install the front lower spoiler
Fix fitment of passenger side headlight
Fix drive side low beam not coming on (only the passenger side lights up or both if on high-beam)
Clean, clean, clean... dust everywhere...

Future... some nice looking PMO's

wachuko 03-20-2015 12:38 PM

Installed adjustable spring plates (had them for the RS project but what the heck), car lowered and aligned... spacers installed in the front wheels (offset was not enough to avoid some scrubbing in the inner wheel well, so a set of spacer was in order...).

And front mounted oil cooler in place:

Lou @ Aero Dynamics is putting together a engine for the car...

3.2 engine with PMOs, 964 profile cams, different muffler (to get the decent sound this car deserves), and a few other goodies. The idea is to give the car some added power and also make that engine bay look a lot nicer.

Stock engine in the car is working perfectly...that one will be taken out and stored. Not going anywhere. Most likely it will get used in another (read new) project.

:)

On a sad note... I no longer own the car... If you guys remember, a friend helped me paid for the work that was pending (bodywork and paint)... well, I sold my portion of the car to him... a deal among friends... he is the one that wanted to do the engine swap...

Small detail... But looks soooo cool :)
