Will this heater backdate part work on an SC?

This part number is listed as fitting an 84-89 Carrera. Does anyone know if it will also fit an SC 3.0?

Part number:

930.106.321.02

Here's a link to the part:

For an SC, I'd use this one:
930-106-321-01-PH

You still have to get that part modified to fit around the 3.0 distributor.
Looking for a possible way around this.

The part I used is for a Turbo. The indented part is large enough for the SC distributor. Other ones are not.

Intended part? You mean the one I started the thread with? Do you have the part number of the one you used?

I too used the Turbo left side hot air duct also: OEM-93010632102. Just FYI, the part you show above does not appear to be for a Carrera nor is it the Turbo part #...I think that's for an earlier car, maybe an SC.
