Zenith Carb setup/adjustment & tips

I need to install and adjust a pair of Zenith Carbs after a rebuild. Is there a good guide or thread somewhere that you all might recommend as a best source for setting these up and adjusting them?

I also heard that the auxillary enrichment circuit should be disabled???? If so, what's the best course to do that? What problems are solved by plugging that circuit?? It looks like the PO filled some of the tubes in that circuit with some red silicone or something. Should I somehow verify they are all still plugged and sealed after a few years of sitting, and if so, what's the best course to test that?

Thanks in advance for any help.
Jeff

Jeff,
I've found this link to be a very good source for tuning Zeniths:
http://www.gary.suggate.dsl.pipex.com/new_site/articles/article2.htm

I would try to get the aux enrichment circuit working. Search on RPM Transducer or MFI Speedswitch for a ton of information on getting the aux enrichment circuit working.

Doug

I'm also interested in more info about disabling the Auxillary enrichment circuit.
