Hey Keith, I've saved a bunch of these over the years and can't give credit to the photographers. Some are from Gunnar's site, you'll know which ones.

Will those will be available for sale through the shop as 18's or only 17's (or not at all)?

Really nice work Keith.

Is that a standard vintage Porsche racing hub that you guys are using or something custom machined? Ie: will these centerlocks be usable on vintage RSRs, 934s and 935s?

Any pix of the front BTW??

Justin,

Standard Center Lock, so these will be useable for the vintage cars you've listed.

The wheel center shown so here is the short (narrow) version - for 9/11" flared cars.

Front side, as requested (just off the mill, in fact - still has an operation to go)

Why does that Aluminum not have any shiny cuts on it in the mill? It looks like it is being anodized after every operation?

Edit: Is the wheel just there as a fixture?

OK, now I see the fuzzy stuff. I did not realize it was just a prototype.

Keith, will the bolt-on barrels be available in various sizes (in 1/2 increments)? Also, will the center be forged or cast? Not asking to be a busybody, as I'm genuinely interested in the wheels for my car. Been checking-in from time to time on the website looking for news. I guess now you're dropping the 17" sizes? Just going with 15's and 18's? Any info would be appreciated. The wheels look great BTW! You kept the "fat" look of the spokes rather than going the route of thinner a la 935 rims. That's what sold me on them. Don't really like the later 935-style rims. I'll be making sure to budget alot for these & the rims & centerlock kits (north of $12K is my guess).

We're still in the 17 Fuchs business, and adding 18. As far as the Center Lock wheels go, we're starting with 18 and working the 15 sizing (they will be 2-piece.)

Yes, 1/2 inch increments - the 18 RSR CLs are designed to utilize stock Fikse barrels - proven and readily available.

Should be a pretty cool product, and just the thing for this build and the rising interest in '74 RSRs

Mr. Jacobs!

I hit you back on the FB page - been stupid-busy around the shop, have not had a lot of email time since the first of the year.

Don't spend the $ on the call, I'll get to the emails in short order.
