Thanks for the info

Any thought of producing a finished reflector that snugs the LED like the Singer?

[QUOTE=rolfjahn;9615653]
  1. You have to cut the head light buckets
  2. The oil cooler gets angled with new mount points-welding required
  3. Custom length oil cooler lines fabrication from Elephant Racing required
  4. Custom Cooling fan and thermostat from Elephant
  5. Interesting time intensive wiring required
  6. Compliment with all LED wiring...
  7. Yes they are Hella LEDs and are very high end units

Looks TOTALLY B!T!CH!N

and I might have a set for sale at cost

Ha! Was just chatting it up with the visionary owner - we're both looking forward to getting through paint and assembling this thing. (Did I post a photo of the wheels yet?; they're awesome)

Update Photos

Final touch up body work is done and primer starting. Tub is going to be painted in factory white then sent back to Zuffenhaus to finish rear fenders/bumpers.

Keith, have you figured out what anodizing will approximate the flat charcoal grey/black finish of the original magnesium wheels? I think the original is a DOW finish, but not sure if it will look the same on cast aluminum as it will on magnesium. I ask because I'm in the same boat...building an RSR with centerlocks but haven't gotten anywhere just looking on line. I'm looking for a number/finish name or milspec number that I can go to an anodizing shop and have it done. Not sure that it's going to be that easy. Thanks -Mike.

That's going to be a Weidman call; Harvey's doing the wheels for us.

We'll be taking the rear 14s down to 13 to run TB5s. Should be very cool.

And we have paint!

Huge Milestone! Inside has paint in Dupont light ivory. Roll bar will be black.

I cannot even imagine how difficult painting the roll bar will be.
