Need Help? 86 Cab boot cover!
Can anyone tell me if a 1983 cab boot cover will work on my 1986 cab? Thank you.

I don't know, but the PET shows 86+ as a different part #.
83 - 85: 911 561 023 00 86+: 911 561 023 60 Maybe the tenax etc were in different places???? Ian

It should not work, because yours has the tenax fasteners. 83's use only snaps, no tenax...
If you verify this, and happen to have a line on a nice boot cover for sale for an 83, I sure would appreciate the heads up, mine is getting pretty ragged. Thanks

Pelican shows the boot to fit cabriolets 1983-1994 which includes the tenax type fasteners. So from this, I could not be able to confirm which boot that you would, being Pelican says pretty much, it is one size fits all??? Good luck!!

I got the boot cover for my 86 from a local auto apolstry place, 2 G's, I don't think so. Mine was significantly less than that. It came without th tenex / snaps on it, I added them in the right locations.

You can convert....my 83 uses the tenax. They be PRICEY...
