Gert - was that you last weekend at RA with the BMWCCA DE? Based on the pics in this thead it sure looked like your car. I was there with my blue '81 SC.

Your car looks FANTATSTIC! Great job and I look forward to seeing it around at some of the local Peachstate PCA events. I'm in Alpharetta if you ever need a hand with anything.

Hi Mark, the stuff is just great, i would have had to repaint my rear fenders again if it wasn't for it, its taking a pelting and holding up just fine...

Hi Doug, thanks for the offer and kind words, yep that was me, i got stuck out on track on the 3rd session on Saturday with a broken throttle linkage and had to drive my son's 944 for the rest of the event. Is yous the light blue metallic SC, if so then i did see you there. I will come look you up on the next DE in August. I will start attending more Peachstate events in future now that the car is done.

Great paint Job.

My 911 is black also. Spent hours wet sanding to get rid of any orange peel. Gets a little hot inside in the summer. It's funny, I would not have any other color except white.

Lots happened in 4 years. Plans changed, car is now being migrated as funds become available for HSR racing while building experience doing DEs. The engine and suspension upgrades makes it a dedicated track car but fun to drive.
