Dash lever light replacement
Here are a couple of pictures of the dash lights I replaced on my 1983 911SC Cabriolet - they are reasonably easy to replace if you can "stand on your head" for the two bulbs on the left side - the 2 bulbs on the right side are "right there" as long as you remove the radio - I placed my radio on the glove box door, so I did not have to disconnect anything. I have also enclosed a picture of an invaluable tool, the Steelman Bend-A-Light - without this, you'ld have a tough time feeling your way to the bulb sockets - this light allows you to see what you are doing. I also used some "Dum-dum", aka 3M Strip-Calk, on the bulb sockets to help them from vibrating loose.
Hope this helps someone! (I have no interest in the light nor the calk) Goosh ![]() ![]() ![]() |
