				Switched 12v source at coil

I need a switched 12v source in the engine compartment. Is there any potential problems using the 12v connection at the coil? Thanks, Jim S.

Both the 993 and the SC should have a switched +12V at the relais pannel in the engine bay I would prefer that over the coil since it will have less transient spikes. Check the three fuses in the panel. If I remember correctly one is hot all the time and the other two are hot with the ignition to ON. Ingo

Thanks Ingo, I checked that one but it is only providing 9.6v for some reason.
