What are the best wheel sizes, for my RSR project?
Hi guys,
I am planning on having my car (backdated 77 Carerra running a 3.2) totally repainted in the new year. I was hoping at the same time I may convert the car to an 73 RSR inspired car. I am going to run SHAW glass panels; wings, duck and rear flares. I was considering a set of lyndsey fuchs but I may go for a set of 18's or 19's off a later model car. What are the ET's on a set of lyndsey fuchs? What wheel sizes should I go for when considering a set of later 18's/19's? Front width, rear width and ET? I have seen that the body shop will require wheels bolted up to help align all of the rear panels correctly. TIA Al

Don't do it Alam !!
Those RSR look-alikes are going to be two a penny around here... ![]() ![]() If you are determined, don't go to anything bigger than 17's.

So can anyone suggest the correct size of wheel I would need? ET, width and diameter??
Much appreciated. Al

The Lindsey brothers know how much backspacing you'll need. That's probably the best way to go, all things considered.
Rota just came out with a 9x11x17 Fuchs lookalikes that aren't as light as the Lindseys, but still look right and are a pretty awesome deal for the money. I've never liked the way 18's, 19's or most aftermarket alternatives to Fuchs look on an early 911 -- but that's just a personal opinion.

Hey thanks for the response.
I guess it has to be lindsey or rota fox then. However, just out of curiosity what ET or back space do these wheels run? ![]()
