How to keep the top front strut nut from spinning?

Kind of stupid, but I used the small tang on the spanner used for engaging the alternator\fan pulley to engage in the cupped washer. A bit fiddly, but it worked OK,

The impact gun did the trick.

My car is not a track car and doesn't see any lateral forces above/beyond a right turn on red.
