Missed it last year due to some much needed maintenance. I'll be there this year. Hopefully Santa will bring me a new Chip.

I always enjoy the New Year Run. I'd like to go to the next one, but I don't feel like driving to the Angeles Crest Highway or some area far away from my area in Thousand Oaks/Malibu.
I know we need to keep the route somewhat "secret" due to the CHP, etc., but I'd appreciate if someone could tell me privately or post the general direction of the route. I really liked the meeting in Calabasas because it is hard to get down to Dave's shop that early and it is cold in my hot rod 911 without a heater or windows.  Thanks!

I would suggest a route similar to the Turkey Day Run.
You could almost guarantee no one will be out there on New Year's Day!

I couldn't go on the T-day run, so I was really hoping to go on the New Year's Run.
Dave, could you please consider those of us in the Ventura county/Maibu area and get the run up to us somehow? The route could be different. The Calabasas meeting after the drive from the shop worked well for me in the past- will there be a second meeting point like in years past? Any help would be appreciated
