Guys, I've ran into a few snags leaving me puzzled--
When did the 915 change clutch cable style, and why. --Helper spring??-- My 911 had a 73 915 in it, and I neglected to think about swapping the cable out to different style--Nor do I have the bracket that holds the cable to the trans. Any help is much appreciated......S in Va |

I'm doing the same thing... I've heard that you can just take the clutch linkage off of your early 915, and add it to the later 915, if you want. I had the option of either when I bought my 915, and I went for the later, since porsche tends to make changes for good reasons. I was told that all I need is a later cable. The side plate was left off of mine when I bought it. That is the reason I am waiting also.
