Lookee what i made :) (strut brace)

I Got the heim joints from a tie rod off a chaparal snowmobile, the rod from a bycycle was the same diameter as the tie rods so i was able to weld them up seamlessly. The center ajustment nut is a lug nut and the brackets i made up out of an old bracket from an IH tractor I have another tie rod with the same joints incase i decide to make it triangulated.

As for the last pic im putting a pre muffler on so im wondering if i should go the extra step and try and remove this dent from my crossover pipe. But i dont think ill be able to remove it completely because the flanges will get caught on the heat exchanger. Im thinking maby i can get a muffler expander tool and try and pop it out while its dangling down there. or possibly try and pop it out from the outside somehow by welding something to it. or possibly cutting out the spot and welding on a patch? The question is will it be worth bothering with it or is it a small unrestrictive dent
