Looks nice. How about some details of what brand and type of body components you added.

The car started out as a basic narrow bodied 911 1977 2.7 model. I purschased it with the intention of the conversion so pretty much got stuck in straight away. A strosek style front bumper and side sills were fitted with an RS style rear bumper. The rear bumper was modified so that the lamps sat flush with the bumper. Genuine turbo front wings and steel rear arch extensions. 18" Techart wheels with 60mm front spacers and 85mm rear due to such high offset from latter car. RS 3.8 rear spoiler and teardrop mirrors. Interior recon with custom made door cards and new headlining. Custom made rear exhaust with genuine 993 end pipes fitted. Sounds awsome!! Engine top end stripped fuel system rebuilt and all painted up to look pretty. Silly sized washer bottle under wing removed and 964 RS tank fitted under bonnet dur to wheels hitting. All new seals, badges etc. Took me 2 years to achieve and all the work i did myself except final prep and paint as i dont have the skills to paint that well. Wiring all custom to use new lights.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201008637.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201008704.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201008765.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201008837.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201008885.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201008946.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201009008.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201009212.jpg |
Very nice work - I give you that - but have you not created a bit of a sheep in wolf's clothing?
Are you looking for a pat on the back or constructive criticism? |

Point taken but i have also had bikes so true power and fun lies there. I built this as it is my favourite shape and i wanted something that stood out more than a standard car. I will be uping the power shortly tho with either a turbo conversion or a 3.6. wait and see it will be done shortly.
Ben the car looks great any more to be done? |
You didn't specify, so here's what you get...:D

I've had a couple.
This 2.4L with Webers, headers and Supertrapps could kick the **** out of a lot of cars in the twisties. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201050501.jpg And then there is the Posermobile. This car started out with a warmed over 3.0L with SSIs. Ran 145mph all day long. Then I lost my mind and added the 930 engine. Still runs 145 all day long, just get there a little quicker. ;) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1201050704.jpg |
Here's mine. A bastard, but I love it.
