				Wheel Fitment Question

944 Phone Dial wheels. 16x7 and 16x8. Would they fit my SC?

The 944 wheels used through '86 can be used on a 911. Both 7 & 8 x16 phone dials have +23.3 o/s, you would probably want to use a spacer in back w/ SC/Carrera flares

tcar, Go to this website. Sherwood Lee who posts a lot on the Rennlist website compiled the chart. It lists the weights, offsets and other useful information for most factory and after market wheels. Another useful source is here.

As Bill noted, through '86 you are OK. Put another way there are "early" phone dials and "late". Early ones have the 23mm offset and will fit. The late ones are something like ~52mm offset and likely will not fit, as they would sit too far inboard. Get the ET numbers on the wheels to be sure.
