questions! who can help
Hey guys,
I have a1972 911T I am looking into doing a conversion on the body to make a 1973 RS clone. Well I found a place that has the Front and rear bumpers and the rear deck lid with a glass duck bill. Well the question is that here at pelican they have SC rear fender flares part # 911-503-607-03-GRV-OEM, and 911-503-608-03-GRV-OEM. I am wondering if I buy these will they mate up with the bumpers for an RS. Here are the bumpers i am lookin at http://www.mashaw.com/html/product_info.html I here they make pretty good stuff. (picture is near the end) What do you guys think? Thanks much Ben

Well, personally, a '72 -- even a T -- is just too nice to mess up with flares, esp. the "wrong" shape flares. I'd at least save that for last.
There is an entire book on the RS - Konradsheim is one of the authors. You just want a look-a-like, right? No suspension or motor changes? The ducktail will improve high speed stick and motor cooling. I'd do that first. Shaw makes quality Fglass. Save your old bumper... |
