'79 RoW Questions
I've got a '79 Row car now. I'm wondering about differences. My last car was '83 USA.
I know that early USA SC's had 8.6:1 CR pistons and wider intake ports and runners. Later USA SC engines had narrower ports and runner, and 9.3:1 CR pistons. Later RoW SC engines had 9.8:1 CR pistons, but I do not know what CR pistons were used in earlier RoW SC engines. What kind of pistons do I have? What kind of intake ports and intake runners do I have (wider, I assume). What kind of spark plugs are required in this engine? Would a tachometer from an '83 USA car work in a '79 RoW? Are the speedometers interchangeable?

Super, I've just looked at my '79 ROW manual and Das buch says sparkplugs are Bosch W225 T 30 (W 5 D) or Beru 225/14/3 A (14-5 D) and a gap 0f 0.031" or .8mm.
