Tune up sequence???

Here are somethings I'm going to be doing in about a week and wanted to know if this looks like the right order, so everything gets adjusted correctly.

1.) Trans. and oil change (Swepco and Brad Pen)
2.) Check Valves and/or adjustment
3.) Check Timing and/or adjustment
4.) Tune Carbs

Job Sequence.....

Rich,

Perform the valve adjustment before changing your motor oil. Clean well the mating surfaces of the lower valve covers and seal them good to minimize oil leaks. HTH.

Or drain the oil and do the valve adjustment. Your sequence #1 says oil change and then #2 do valve adjustment. Drain oil and adjust valve followed later with oil fill. Does this makes sense? Unless you meant by 'oil change' is drain oil.
