Porsche Crest Targa Top Gurus (Gutter Question)

Hi again

I'm recovering my Targa's Top and found that some of the finnishing of the gutter was peeling off I deside to strip off the entire gutter's. Then I began searching for something similar in the market with no luck so far. The factory finnishing is a thick film .
Have you been in the same situation? Let me know how you solve it.

I had mine powder coated a gloss black, not original but it looks terrific and will be durable.

All excellent advice....
I have the same issue with my Targa Top, and even though the outer skin is good, the seals need to be replaced, and b/c the paint is chipping off in huge chunks on the rain gutters, I'll be refinishing then before installing the seals...

Vic -I covered mine many years ago with shiny electrical tape. It has stayed on and still looks good. Quick and easy. If you don't like the look, easy to remove and do something else. (No disassembly of top required).

A couple of years ago I had mine powdercoated (for durability) during rebuild of the targa top. I remember it being roughly $50 for both sides.

I wonder if that rubberized crap you dip your tool handles in would work?
