Hello,
I need some help. I started a project to build in a 3.0SC into a 911 1972. Everything is already electrical upgraded and working, except for the electrical part to the 3.0SC engine itself. The objective is to connect the 911 '72 original wiring system to the 3.0SC engine connectors. The generator from the 3.0SC will of course replace the old 911 AC/DC converter system. For now I need a simplified wiring diagram for the last upgrade steps in my project 3.0 to run the 911 '72 wiring to the 3.0SC engine. These are a few simple upgrades. Eduard, AMSTERDAM HOLLAND |

Welcome aboard!!!! You might not know it, but it is a common practice here to post some pictures of your car as an introduction. There are plenty of help available in this forum. Going back to your question, you need to familiarize yourself about the 14-point connector configuration of SC's and your '72. Contact me at atd911@hotmail.com if you need information about SC's 14-point connector's wire color coding and function. Some of the wiring upgrade needed will be for FP relay, air sensor plate ground connection, VR conversion, etc. Others with earlier cars will also be great sources for suggestions and recommendations.
