installing rear window

Im installing rear window, what is the order do to it.
install gasket , then chrome trim, then i fit the lower or the upper part of the window?
I have tried fitting upper part first and then pulling the cords , but the trim slips out. havent tried it the other way.

Put rubber on glass then install the trim in rubber, tape the rubber to the glass to hold it in place. Make sure your trim is really in the rubber, it should not snap out unless it bent too. You may have to reshape it a bit but this is a very important thing to do.

I would start the lower part first (then you don't have to hold it) then work up removing the cord
