Header outlet spacing question

This should be easy for somebody to answer, but I couldn't easily find a clear answer when searching.

My 78SC had SSIs and a custom fabricated muffler system that consisted of Bursch collector pipes and a Flowmaster muffler. The muffler system is now shot and must be replaced.

Are the outlets of SSI headers at the same width and position as stock exhaust - so that I just order a regular off-the-shelf muffler system for my car? The Bursch pipes I had look like the 75-77 set in their ad. (bottom right of the picture below)

Adding to the confusion, I see the M&K (pn MK-MNEB-21-T) says it is for 74-89. Is the outlet spacing the same for a 2.7, 3.0, and 3.2??

Thanks

I am having a little difficulty sorting out your question. I am assuming that you are saying that your car still has the SSI heat exchangers and you need a muffler to fit them. If that's the case, you need a muffler that fits cars up to 1974, with two inlets.

The muffler that originally came on an SC had a single inlet on the left side, which will not work with SSI heat exchangers.

SSI are early 911 stock replacement heat exchangers. Any dual inlet muffler built for stock early heat exchangers (pre-1974) 911 will work. All are the same distance, 2.0L - 3.2L.
