Wide Band O2 Measurement output curve?

I have been looking into wide band O2s lately as I approach the end of my rebuild. I am looking to figure out or get a look up table that describes the output of the sensor vs. the Air/Fuel ratio (why people call it ration I will never guess)

I have found some things like:

http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2007/06/WidebandShootout/index.php

Note the two graphs: one for narrow band and one for wide band. Interesting to see that the Narrow band is in mV to Ratio where the wideband is in mA to Ratio. Of more interesting details that peaked my curiosity in this test was the difference in Accuracy of the systems that are using the SAME Bosch sensor... hrmnnnn...

I'd like to use the Bosch so here is their spec sheet:

http://www.bosch-motorsport.com/pdf/sensors/lambda/LSU42.pdf

But, alas there is no spec or decent graph on how the sensor output will vary based on O2 or other gas content... It does say, "operates only in combination with a special LSU-IC, used in most Bosch Motorsport ECUs and lambda control boxes (LT4, AWS LSU 4.9 e.g.)." So it may be a poor choice to use the Bosch if I can't get anything out of it without using their special chip. It does say that the sensor is a current limiting set up with a trim resistor so it has to output something! question is what... I thought it was 0-5 V!

At the bottom of this page there is this graph that could be useful if it were a bit more accurate Then we could check their math on the transfer function of AFR=2*V + 9.6. I am assuming that V=mV, but I'll have to see:

http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/zt2/widebandoutput.htm

However, if Bosch is a current limiting sensor then why is Zeitronics measuring voltage... ahhhh the mysteries of life. Perhaps the output is, after all, 0-5 V

In which case I might be able to hook it up to a serial port and measure/log it as such... or not...

If you have made it this far and are wondering, "why doesn't he just buy a setup and be done with it!" well I like fiddling with this stuff and if I toy with it long enough I might actually get something that works for a lot less than $800... of course, my time of free

Please discuss!
