CIS Injectors test results

Hi -
I had my CIS injectors tested by WitchHunter this spring, as my engine was out and getting some other new parts - so I thought I'd treat it to that process "while I was in there". The report is below. They commented that injector #2 had a weak spring and should be replaced - it did have a lower crack pressure than the others as well as a higher flow rate.

So my questions are - how much worse, in the real world, is the #2 injector and what are the chances of finding a single replacement that will fit it w/my current ones specs? Is that cylinder just getting more fuel and running rich as a result? Is that bad?

Thanks,
Tom

Since it's graded as "Good" and "Pass", I'd run it for now and start keeping your eye open for a replacement. For my 73.5, I found 5 brand new injectors on the Pelican swap site for $95.

You will know when it goes bad, the car will run poorly.

Tom,
Brand new CIS injector for your engine, '77 2.7 CIS, is listed in Pelican for $41.50.
Why wait?

That one injector is 30% rich at full flow. I'd replace it and have a smoother running, more powerful and more economical 911.

Regards,

Jerry
