I like the two middle one's but given your black trim on the bumpers I'd go with the black stripes with the grey wheels.

Nice looking car!

It's a toss up between #2 and #4. Do you prefer black or white? Another option is silver trim and Porsche lettering. That would go well with your wheels.

i like #4, but I'd make the bumper stripes narrower, & no white wheels!

I like number 1. It looks very clean and purposeful. The stripes/porsche script look good, but have been done to death.

thank`s for the reply`s so far. At the moment i would prefer #2. Second best i would think i would go #4. And next year #2 with classic-style rims and the following year.......i`ll ask again here, woohoo
I have some lightweight fibreglass-bumpers in my cellar that need to be painted....

I like the idea of silver script as well. If you could get it in a color match to the wheels it would look great. I think doing the bumper trim in the same color would be nice as well, but leaving it black looks good too. Whatever you choose have fun with it because, after all, it can be changed back to original with little or no effort.

I'm all over #4 ! (agree with the thinner line comments...)

In fact, that's very similar to my car, though mine is more of a Colorado Red than Guards... I'd like the big gumball style numbering to go with it, but don't know if I want to have that on for everyday driving...

-and that's what I'm planning to do with mine. My car used to have the black logo/stipes and it just didn't look right (on red) to me. The white, along with white Fuchs (though I'm thinking ALL white, with possibly a thin brushed lip) looks great.

Right now, I'm using a set of 7x15 Cookie Cutter wheels painted white with 225 45 rubber... I think they look good but white Fuchs (ala Rothmans style) would look better.

Good luck with your decision ! Post the results.
Thanks for posting the pics !

Right. I'm the one who fired up the hair dryer and took them off that car, back in 1974! Stripes were so 1960s; even then they were looked upon as "over the top," like a high-school kid shouting, "Look at me!"

I vote for #1.

DOH ! I was sort of hoping you wouldn't see when I posted that Frank ! I know what you're saying, maybe just a white stripe down the side ??? I'm thinking from a 'racing' perspective, just like putting CIBIE, Marchal, or the Gulf horse on there, Porsche wanted their LOGO posted. I do think it's a bit much to need to put 'Porsche' on all sides of the car (for a street car) like people on the sidewalk might not recognize a 911 ??!! But if you're going for the 'racecar' look, I don't think it's that out there...

(Though Frank will bit*h-slap again me for saying so...)

I'm wanting to ditch the chrome deco strip along the bottom (mine's fairly scratched & beat up), but the car just doesn't look right without something along that bottom rocker panel...

I would like #1 best if you took off the black rubber trim. Very clean and I agree with the comments about the proof of the Porsche being in the driving.

As far as the options you have photoshoped, I like #2.

number two but without the trim. Here is my car before I took off the bumper trim. I love the look.

I like #1 the best. It is subjective, but I think the car looks unbalanced with the front spoiler with no rear tail. I would go #1 with stock front bumpers, or maybe #2,3,4 with a tail.

Yes you´re right. I have the standard bumper already here. I bought the car with the RS-bumper but in my opinion the RS-look is only genuine on a real RS or on a 911 with more than 200hp....

BTW: Thanks guys for the photos of your 911s.....
John....what machine do you drive ? Does it still have the 2,2E in it ?
